The Green Man Inn is a country public house and hotel in the small rural village of Fownhope just outside Hereford. It dates from 1485.
In the 18th and 19th centuries the site was used as a petty sessional court,where criminals would have be placed in shackles and thrown in to cells.
Th interior of the inn still retains many of the original features.
Paranormal activity witnessed include - A shimmering shadow that crosses the bar when no one is there to cast a shadow,The apparition of a man in shackles and the mysterious
moving mirror in room 3.
